Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use it for our day-to-day accounting. We are cash basis, so it's pretty simple for a company our size. The problem it addresses is keeping our books in house and organized properly. We use Intacct across the entire organization.

CC reconcile pulls by date, not by statement. This causes a longer, manual, reconcile for the final one to three days of the statement.
Create default report export. For example, our data analyst always has to choose CSV from the drop down.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise

Sage is a waaaaaaay better system. The software is newer, not old stuff stacked below new stuff.

Likelihood to Recommend

My experience is limited to our small company (in staff), on cash basis accounting. Our needs are few, but Intacct certainly meets all of them. The good thing about getting started with Intacct is that it's ready to grow with us. If we switch to accrual, or end up needing more bells and whistles, we are ready.
