Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
It is currently being used by our Accounting department. It addresses the lack of a true Accounting system that our other system does not have. As we get more and more comfortable with it, I believe we will start to spread it across our various departments, where it makes sense.
- Creating purchase orders.
- Creating executive reports.
- Segmenting purchases into specific areas (location, warehouse, dept, activity).
- Ability to change an item from inventory to non-inventory.
- Better and easier use of creating forms from the system.
- Ability to mark as credit card transaction without having to tie into a credit card system.
- It is much quicker to create a PO for purchasing in Sage [Intacct] than our old system.
- It is cheaper than the external accounting firm we were using to manage our books.
- It gives us greater visibility into the financials of our company on a daily basis.
Yes, automating the general ledger, accounts payable, and order management allowed our company to become paperless and streamline the approval processes and payment processes, which takes our staff less time to do and saves us in employee cost.
