Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct for all of our financial budgeting, tracking and reporting for our organization. Intacct allows us to ensure we are planning effectively and then enables us to track and report out spend throughout the year so that our users can make informed purchasing decisions and remain fiscally responsible.

Pros

  • Easy user interface.
  • Robust reporting.
  • Solid customer support.

Cons

  • Constantly improving user interface.
  • Smoother integration with Excel.
  • My number one business objective is to stay on budget. By leveraging dashboards and the associated reporting, we have come in under budget 3 years in a row. I don't know if that would have been possible if we didn't have such a system in place.
It minimizes errors and manual labor which then allows my staff to reallocate their time to more business critical matters.

If you are an organization that has multiple users, appreciate being able to leverage dashboards, etc. then Sage Intacct is right for you. It represents a significant upgrade over using a basic system like Excel. I really think the benefit outweighs the cost unless you are a very small organization.
