Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Finance/accounting software. Purchased to simplify rev rec and billing processes.
  • Prepaids module streamlines month end practices
  • Fa module streamlines month end close processes
  • Need consistent training readily available - in my experience, the system is convoluted and not user-friendly.
  • The contracts module has many facets that were never explained during implementation. Personally, I had a very bad experience with our implementation team.
  • Barely up and running
  • Lost time to implementation issues
  • Financial reports not formatted properly
Not much change from the prior software.
The contracts module is utilized but still learning system capabilities.
We had a consultant implement it. We were unable to work in most of the system for four months due to a user error on their end.

Automation - however, many of the processes are not as user-friendly.
The contracts module is great in theory, but the proper training needs to be provided. Specifically explanation of the additional accounts created for the use of the module paid/unpaid/etc.
