Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a finance support specialist, specializing in Accounts Payable. I use Sage Intacct to process vendor payments, enter bills, create check runs, etc. I use it every day, it's very user friendly and easy to learn. Most things are quite self explanatory but what may not be is easily explained in the Sage University training modules.

Pros and Cons

Provides a smooth easy way to create check runs
Allows processing EFT payments in a quick and efficient way

Not allowing duplicate transaction entry
Allowing ease of transaction entry from one entity to another, making it easier to switch between them
Notification of a duplicate vendor, ease of merging duplicate vendors

Return on Investment

It's easy to pay vendors on time, creating good relationships
It's easy to process EFT payments through the program, creating good relationships
It's easy to create pre-paid transactions and set them up on a recurring basis

Sage Intacct Automation

Sage Intacct makes it very easy to reconcile our bank accounts. It makes it easy to reconcile our general ledger and makes it clear when things are not adding up or correct. The ability to change things and easily is helpful and conducive to quick, and efficient accounting processes. I cannot recommend it enough.

Sage Intacct Extensibility

I do not have to utilize these modules but from what I have seen from the other modules I do use, I am sure that these are helpful and easy to navigate. Like I mentioned earlier, what little may be confusing in Sage Intacct is quickly explained in Sage University so almost all aspects of the program are easy to learn, use, and navigate.

Sage Intacct Configuration

Sage Intacct was configured for me upon arrival at this job, but I was able to customize the program to my specific needs and job responsibilities. This program is top tier in ease of access, and I cannot say that enough. Truly, it's one of the easier programs I have used and if I had known about it sooner I would have chosen it for my small business.

I think overall the product is fantastic, I don't have any negative feedback. The product is easy to learn, use, and navigate. It's accessible and very user friendly. The interface is not crowded, or intimidating. I enjoy the customization of my homepage and making it easy to add favorites/most often used tabs to my start-up page.
