Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

I'm part of the accounting team and we use it to manage our general ledger which includes all financials.

Pros

  • Easy to integrate with Excel - both exports and imports
  • High level differentiation of Branch and State Accounts and the ability to operate at a Top Level
  • Easy to ingrate many accounts with management of Programs and sub departments for complex financial reporting

Cons

  • When an upload errors out, it will error out on the first error and ignore the rest of the upload - it would be nice if it analyzed all errors from the start. Once you fix the first error, you can get a different error on the next upload.
I have only seen the results of the configuration and I was not involved in the implementation.
Sage Intacct stacks up great against other programs.

This program is especially well suited for many cost centers - we have many government grants with varying cycles and Sage Intacct makes it possible to manage all the separate accounts, programs, and departments.
