Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct takes care of all of our accounting for over 100 different legal entities. We used to manage all of our accounting in MRI and, in my experience, it was just an outdated system that struggled to keep up with our operations accounting. Sage Intacct has been great at solving pain points we had in MRI. We now have a better handle on our A/R, ACH payments are much smoother, and system connectivity is way better with Sage Intacct.

  • ACH payments via Nacha file
  • Financial statements
  • Time and expense management
  • Journal entries

Cons

  • Importing data
  • Mass manipulating data (I had to deactivate 1,000 vendors 1 by 1)
  • Bills approvals
  • Has cut down our investor distribution process my several hours.
  • Helped our A/R side of things with project based billing.
  • Looking forward to moving over to Sage Construction so that we can continue to build on our Sage relationship.

I think Sage Intacct is great. We have a complex business structure at [...] and it handles a variety of challenges that different businesses at [...] present. I do think that anything real estate focused can be challenging in Sage Intacct. For instance we do the accounting for the office building we own and manage. Sage Intacct leaves a little bit to be desired here as it doesn’t support tenant billings, etc.
