Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We are a General Contractor that used Sage 100 for 10 years before making to switch to Intacct

Pros

  • Integrates with Procore
  • Extensive reporting capabilities
  • Automated monthly activities

Cons

  • Sage 100 had a Project Summary Screen. A one stop shop for all project related information. We can build something similar in a Dashboard but it isn't as good as Sage 100.
  • In Sage 100 issuing joint checks was a breeze. It is a very frustrating and time consuming process in Intacct.
  • We have only been live for a couple of months but these are the two most frustrating issues at the moment.
  • We have only been live for a couple of months but the reporting capabilities are already helping us manage costs at a more granular level.
We made the switch as Sage 100 was no longer scalable for our business. There are still some things that Sage 100 did better than Intacct - see prior comments regarding joint checks and overall project summaries. However, i am hoping with time those issues will be corrected in Intacct.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

No

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Overall SAGE Intacct is a vast improvement over SAGE 100. However, there are some simple features in 100 that we took for granted that are not in Intacct which is frustrating.
