Sage Intacct Experience
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
For accounting. It makes journal entries and connections to other software easy and makes for better efficiency. Report building is easier to learn that other systems and the options to memorize reports helps processes as well. I also like that it is cloud based. I wish there were more variety in quick start category templates as we are a family office.
Pros
- Duplicating entries
- Importing entries
- Connections to Bill.com
Cons
- Options for quick start templates
- Reconciling Close
- Showing live cash balances without having to post entries
- Efficiency
- Connections
- Reporting
More automation and efficiency of entries using duplication and importing. Budgeting feature has been helpful to get out of manual excel. Reporting and tagging allow us to see the data in different ways which is helpful for managers and the clients to see. AP connection to Bill.com has been helpful in our billing.
We have tried out multi-entity consolidations but not project accounting or time and expense etc. We do like the consolidations to give the clients a better more clear picture but it does take extra time and effort to reconsolidate each month after each change. Ideally this would be more seamless.
Sage Intacct is night and day over Microsofit Dynamics. The ease of use and efficiency is so much better with Sage Intacct. The conneciton options and reporting is as well. I would not recommend Microsoift Dynamics to anyone espcially after using Sage Intacct. I would most definitely choose this one over that.
