Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct as our primary ERP, managing AP, accounting, purchasing, and general financial work across a multiple-entity company. We use its AI features for AP and custom dimensions for different locations and entities, as well as for making custom reports. We use most if not all of Sage Intacct's features.

Pros

  • Sage Intacct's Copilot AI is able to parse accounts payable bills, reducing manual input
  • Sage Intacct has custom reports for financials
  • Sage Intacct allows custom dimensions

Cons

  • AI can be inaccurate
  • There are limited options for mass-data editing
  • Sage Intacct's API is somewhat limited
  • Sage Intacct has helped reduce manual entry
  • Sage Intacct has helped build custom reports for complex financials
Accounts payable automation works well, and is able to save time on manual entry. Combined with its automatic AI parsing, it can automate most parts of the process. Additionally, Sage Intacct has the ability to automate payments to vendors, as well as robust vendor management for dealing with a large number of vendors.
Sage Intacct has a lot of configurable settings to help businesses set it up for their needs. There is room for improvement, specifically regarding the approvals systems and allowing multi-department bills. However, for the most part, Sage Intacct is very configurable and flexible. Sage Intacct has useful documentation for setting things up as well.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Sage Intacct excels for complex business structures due to its multi-entity consolidation features. It has built-in tools for automating day-to-day tasks like accounts payable, receivable, and purchasing. However, it is limited for inventory management, and would likely be overkill for small businesses. It is restrictive, making it secure for corporate environments, and has high uptime and availability.
