From an accountants perspective.....
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We needed Sage Intacct to provide more up to date/real time financial statements. We were using several softwares that required hard cutoffs and integrations before financial statements could be produced. Sage Intacct allows us to produce all of our statements in one place.
Pros
- Accounts Payable bill scanning
- hyper links within financial statements
Cons
- I would like a hyperlink from within an AP bill to see the history of the vendor without having to leave the vendor to look up the history
- I would like to be able to add additional rows to an AP bill if I am reclassifying it after it was paid and then discover it was coded incorrectly
- I would like to be able to pick one vendor and print all open bills for all of our locations for them at once instead of having to go into each individual vendor seperately and printing the checks
- more timely financial statements
- more visibility by manager of accounts payable
- standardized custom reports for easier reporting
I can see us using them in the future. We would look into this more.
We used to use Matrix Care. There are aspects of MC that I really miss and some of Sage Intacct that I am excited to use. I like the AP in MC better. Matrix Care had a link next to the vendor name in the bill that popped up their history.
