Its a robust program

Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
It is our accounting software. We use it for general ledger management, reporting and purchasing approvals.
Pros
- Integration of purchasing and AP
- Cash Management
Cons
- Approval delegation
- General user security - too many slippery cases where a user's permissions can be either too open or too closed. Very little dynamism.
- It seems like accessing many basic features are cost prohibitive for us.
- The most bare bones package is too robust and expensive for our organization.
- I think UX/UI is pretty awful. Far too many options for customization of lists or reporting, but none of it makes sense to us. For being such a rich program I think it looks pretty bad on the whole. Super buggy.
- Reporting is so robust it is incomprehensible for us. Training doesn't help because the reporting features are so dense they're impossible to navigate for us.
- Error messages are incomprehensible.
- It has been massively difficult to integrate into daily operations for us
- Many basic features are inaccessible to our employees, such as dashboards
- In our experience, the system does not make itself user friendly to non accounting colleagues
We have not.
We are a small organization and have not had the time or resources to engage with additional projects. Anything that was included in implementation or built out is incomprehensible for us to navigate on the back end. Basic management of our systems requires far too much knowledge of specific mechanics that aren't translateable to other platforms.
More tech forward.
