Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

I am a senior accountant for a private equity firm; we use Sage Intacct as our main accounting ERP. The firm owns several pediatric orthodontic practices and it Sage allows us to link all the bank accounts in one place and reconcile the banks. This allows us to create reports and analyze financial performance of each practice.

Pros

  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Accounts Payable
  • Reporting
  • Accounts Receivable,

Cons

  • Ability to set rules for each location code and category
  • Ability to drill into GL details without and return to TB without having to press back
  • Automated bank reconciliation
  • Ability to provide week over week cash activity reports
  • Sage organized all JE posted and it's easy to revenue transactions and make adjustments if needed.
The automation in AP is great. This allows us to link Sage with Bill.com and approve invoices while simultaneously booking the JEs into the general ledger.
I have not used them yet but look forward to applying these.
Yes, Sage Intacct is easy to configure, it's easy to add new users and permission which allowed up to quickly build up the accounting team so they can book general journal entries. The journal entry bank is a report that shows all JE booked and allows us to review everything without missing anything.
I used D365 in my previous roles and Netsuite. While Netsute is great Sage is much more accounting friendly and allows up to do things like reversing JEs as opposed to booking two separate ones which can be time consuming.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Sage Intacct is great for consolidation and reporting. This allows our firm to quickly book journal entries and reconcile the bank on a weekly basis. By reconciling the bank each week, we can actually depict a financial picture for each week. Our firm relies on cash to fund practice and pay invoices.
