Sage Review - Mario Rosales
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
I am a senior accountant for a private equity firm; we use Sage Intacct as our main accounting ERP. The firm owns several pediatric orthodontic practices and it Sage allows us to link all the bank accounts in one place and reconcile the banks. This allows us to create reports and analyze financial performance of each practice.
Pros
- Bank Reconciliation
- Accounts Payable
- Reporting
- Accounts Receivable,
Cons
- Ability to set rules for each location code and category
- Ability to drill into GL details without and return to TB without having to press back
- Automated bank reconciliation
- Ability to provide week over week cash activity reports
- Sage organized all JE posted and it's easy to revenue transactions and make adjustments if needed.
The automation in AP is great. This allows us to link Sage with Bill.com and approve invoices while simultaneously booking the JEs into the general ledger.
I have not used them yet but look forward to applying these.
I used D365 in my previous roles and Netsuite. While Netsute is great Sage is much more accounting friendly and allows up to do things like reversing JEs as opposed to booking two separate ones which can be time consuming.
