Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Sales Cloud

We use it to track all of our accounts, our contacts, opportunities that come from donations, from tickets, from memberships, from pledges, from DAFs.

Pros

  • It manages all of our contacts and the addresses and updates and I mean, everything we need to know about our constituents. More the better. I mean, it integrates with our other platforms that we use for our everyday business ticketing systems, marketing, I mean, those are the primary ones we're using it for now.
  • I mean, it integrates with almost any platform that we would consider using. It's modern, it's secure. They're continually updates. I mean, it's the primary standard for CRMs in the world.

Cons

  • Its cost. I think around duplicate and contact matching. There could be some improvements made. It has the potential to do everything, which also makes it very complicated. We would definitely, with the change in profiles and permissions, it's been a challenge for an org of our size with limited staff to make changes. Migrations can be difficult. That's about it. We're pretty satisfied.
  • I mean, it integrates with almost any platform that we would consider using. It's modern, it's secure. They're continually updates. I mean, it's the primary standard for CRMs in the world.
  • It's kind of the source of a single truth. It's helping us get there. We're still not there. It's a nonprofit, so we've got ways to go, but to kind of provide information 360 degrees on all of our patrons, it's allowed us to do that and to give access to executives and those who need to view that information.
Raiser's Edge, CSING. Those are the primary ones. There's no competition at all. I mean, in terms of tracking duplicate contact, I mean contacts ability to be secure and provide the right access for different levels. Salesforce was able to do that. Oh yeah. Yes. Whereas the other one that didn't, I mean, but in far inferior ways.

Do you think Salesforce Sales Cloud delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Salesforce Sales Cloud's feature set?

Yes

Did Salesforce Sales Cloud live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Salesforce Sales Cloud go as expected?

No

Would you buy Salesforce Sales Cloud again?

Yes

Where this product well, it's well suited for anyone who has customers they want to track and disparate systems where they need to connect because Salesforce doesn't do everything. Where it's less appropriate, I mean, if you don't have customers, it's probably not the product you'll be needing.

Using Salesforce Sales Cloud

I'd say seven. It definitely is for those who have some ability to use technology and it can get complicated, but it also is very, it can be tailored for users with views quite easily. So seven.
