Overall Satisfaction with SAP Analytics Cloud
I followed one of my partners with whom I planned and advised a client in the implementation of the SAP Analytics Cloud platform to ensure the creation of a Business Intelligence platform aimed at the use of tools for the in-depth analysis of data in a different way from the classic sheet analysis.
- You can do Predictive analytics
- It allows you to exploit Machine learning algorithms
- You can easily share your BI analysis
- Being web-based, the interface sometimes suffers from slowdowns
- Need some expertise to work in calculations
- Being proposed "as a service", it is a fixed monthly cost for each individual user which can be a big limit
- Users are able to collaborate remotely, saving time and travel costs.
- Gives faster analysis that can save work time.
- Through predictive analysis and machine learning, you are able to avoid wrong business choices, which is a huge, priceless advantage.
In this particular case, the choice did not depend on my opinion as I was collaborating throughout the process. Their choice was primarily guided by the fact that the company we were advising was already on the SAP platform so Analytics Cloud was directly linked, thanks to the excellent integration of SAP products.
