Overall Satisfaction with SAP Integration Suite

It depends. Some departments rely more, others rely less, on our SAP Integration Suite. We try to introduce the SAP Integration Suite everywhere where it is possible. It addressed our SAP Fiori Launchpad business problem.
  • SAP Fiori Launchpad on SAP Integration Suite.
  • You can integrate different systems on different ui5 versions.
  • SAP ui5 development on SAP Web IDE.
  • It has more features than the local Web IDE.
  • SAP Integration Suite Cockpit.
  • Try out new ABAP Trials.
  • Sometimes we see a negative performance (might be network issues).
  • Optimize the UI and layout (but people do just have to get used to the new tech).
  • Positive: Automatic updates and upgrades of systems.
  • A strong consolidated basis was driven by SAP experts.
  • Negative: Somehow you become even more dependent on SAP. If SAP Integration Suite fails, you cannot run your business anymore; created a single point of failure.
We didn't do the data integration part yet - in my mind, this is really a central component that should also be moved to the cloud. Once that happens, we could integrate from different data sources to transform and put the data back to a variety of different target systems.
Our products are highly configurable. We wanted to do user recommendations. With the help of the machine learning capabilities, we managed to create user recommendations in our web shop.
We use lots of SAP products and we do not want to have a heterogeneous system landscape, that's why we decided to again go for SAP Integration Suite.
You cannot use SAP Integration Suite in case you are latency dependent. SAP allows only manual warehouses to be implemented on the SAP Integration Suite - automatic warehouses are not possible. Every time you need to consolidate or aggregate several non-SAP and/or SAP systems, it is a good approach to use the SAP Integration Suite.
