Concur is worth it

We use SAP Concur to track and manage expenses within our organization. It compiles these into reports that are easy to understand, and allows for attachments that can justify the expenses being used. Concur is allowing us to quickly resolve expenses at month/quarter end when deadlines are tight and reporting needs to be accurate.

We used Sage which integrated with Concur. It was simple to get integrated and we never really had any issues with data integrity or time consumption. Because of this we seemlessly reconciled and closed books.

Concur has easily adapted to future changes, for example the way they handle traveling for business purposes. It makes it clear exactly what needs to be submitted, how, and can even give us specific data to validate these travel purchases. From an accounting prospective having more clean validation and data integrity is all you can ask

I kind of touched on this in other questions, but the only real gripe I have with Concur is user experience. Anyone that is not in Concur often will find it tricky to navigate at first. You can’t simply submit a reimbursement request for example. There is a report outlining what is needed, and the submission of those reports can be confusing. The approval process afterward is clean though
