Overall Satisfaction with SAP Crystal
We currently use SAP Crystal reports to create reports. Our ERP did not come with built in reports so we had to create all our reports, for the company from scratch. This is used company wide from production to finance. It addresses the main concern of getting information from our ERP into a manageable, readable format that users can use to disseminate information
- Reliable software
- Constant support
- Def not going anywhere
- Its interface, while it's a workhorse, is not going to win any beauty pageants
- Adding graphics and charts to a report feels cumbersome and VERY antiquated
- It shows its age sometimes
We didn't so much evaluate them as use them side by side. Crystal was already here so we didn't replace it or think to replace it. We just added other programs that do things better. Both Power B and Dynamics are good at visualizing data in charts. Crystal is the workhorse
