Overall Satisfaction with SAP Crystal Reports
Crystal Reports is used by our software developer for integration into our website for auto generated reports. I purchased a copy of Crystal Reports to be able to visually customize the end users' experience and give our reports a current look and feel.
- It allows for customization to continuously suit our needs over 10 years after integration.
- The API documentation was solid and allowed very easy integration by our developers.
- Compatibility with our varying Windows operating systems was no problem at all.
- The UI is a little out-dated and clunky.
- Had a hard time finding resources to answer questions that weren't very basic. Had to use a lot of third party resources.
- Would love to see better built in features for visual styles instead of relying mostly on code.
We've been using Crystal Reports for over 10 years because it's worked since day 1 and continued to work for our purposes. There has been no reason to switch.
