Overall Satisfaction with SAP Crystal Reports

We currently use it to run line of business reports. The reports do give insight, but the information is static and becomes old after a report is run. Some reports we use have improved processes which have been great in those cases.

Pros

  • Can consolidate multiple processes using a single report.
  • Giving snapshot info.
  • Can be used with many different sources of data.

Cons

  • Generally static reports.
  • Requires a pretty skilled worker to create and manage reports.
  • Not straight-forward to integrate with other applications.
Still under review.
Real time drill down is not great from UX and UI experience.
