Overall Satisfaction with SAP Crystal Reports
I use Crystal Reports on a daily basis to extract data from various databases. This is required for the assignments within my position. I am the statistician for my department so I produce statistical reports monthly, quarterly and annually. I also extract data specific to open records requests received by my agency as well as specific data for offenses that occur. I use Crystal Reports for various other reports within the agency as requested.
- Extracts data which can be compiled and analyzed.
- Combines various data sets into useful reports on demand.
- Writes the SQL statement for the user making building reports simpler.
- I honestly cannot think of a single recommendation I can make to improve this product.
- SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Access
I have used SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Access to produce some similar reports. I am not a big fan of Access but I did have good results from Management Studio. The databases I am querying against now seem to work well with Crystal Reports and I have found it to be very reliable so that is what I use primarily to get the data I need.
