Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SAP Litmos is being used for internal training and repository needs on a cybersecurity module around Priviliged Access Management and Secrete Server from Thycotic. Litmos helps to power all the collection of videos and quizzes and is made interactive and does not freeze anytime a navigation is there in the user interface. Also, we can see the progress and it is more self-assessment for module completion.

Pros and Cons

Quizzes.
Progress checks.
Video materials provided.
Comprehensive exam at the end.

Reporting on analytics could be there.
For larger scale modules maybe having a transcript on videos would be nice.
Integration with other tools.

Return on Investment

Alternatives Considered

MindTickle

MindTickle has more detailed modules but has it in an order of ascending and next progress module. SAP Litmos doesn't necessarily have that feature but it is more ad-hoc in determining functionality on quizzes as opposed to making a collection of modules to complete before heading to another bigger topic. That is why SAP Litmos seems to be more for a larger audience currently since we just are trying to get more engagement than full mastery. But MindTickle and SAP Litmos are for different target audiences, and both very good solutions.

Usability

It does the job well and the support is definitely there. Also, SAP Litmos can be helpful when someone is trying to understand a lot around for certifications like Thycotic where a lot of folks see value in video material, quizzes and one final exam at the end while other learning solutions may take more time to navigate through and begin.

Implementation Rating

Implementation on SAP Litmos is efficient since for the ERP Platform SAP, there is a lot of suite of products and it almost works nicely. SAP Also has HANA, BW, Fiori, ABAP all of which SAP Litmos data could be consolidated and utilized for further processing on analytic reports elsewhere within the SAP Implementation.

SAP Litmos has a lot of benefit around training and quizzes. It helps to make things concise and interactive to address where end-users could prioritize their attention in learning. Also, Litmos is great for plowing through a lot of modules and keeps people apprised on where they have been able to focus their energy in areas that they could improve upon. The ability to check out other teammates progress seems to not be there right away and maybe more in integration with other platforms is not there yet.
