Overall Satisfaction with SAP Lumira
We use it to highlight KPI's, trends in Sales and Logistics trade lanes. We also use SAP Lumira dashboards for deals to identify areas in Sales, that the organization needs to focus on to be more effective, like Churn based customer reporting. We use Lumira to connect directly to BW queries on BW4HANA.
Pros
- Excelled connectivity to all SAP products like BW, HANA as well as to SAP's trademark SAP BO Universes.
- Cost effective and can be implemented with little technical effort. It is part of SAP Analytics enterprise license by SAP.
- Dashboards and applications are saved in BI launchpad I self so all security developed in SAP BI can be reused.
Cons
- Lumira could provide better charts
- Visualization in-memory engine must be improved
- Map analysis of Lumira needs significant upgrades to compete with market leaders like Tableau.
None of the above mentioned tools have good SAP products connectivity. Most of the medium and Large organizations usually run large-scale SAP deployments.
