My experience using SAP SuccessFactors
Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors
We use SAP SuccessFactors to support customers projects that demand Peformance Management, Learning tracks and Onboarding processes. The solution is complete, mature and very suitable for medium/big projects, specially when the on-line culture is already established inside the company. It is a high-customizable platform that can support easily most of projects, but there are a few things that could be improved, specially thinking about user experience and reporting.
Pros
- Consistent and solid platform
- Nice integration with Outlook
- Good progress tracking
- Efficient onboarding
Cons
- End user experience
- Reporting could be more flexible/customizable
- Integration to other systems (3rd party)
- Improved HR flexibility and productivity
- More consistent data for managers
- Faster communication
In our projects, compliance topics never became a real issue when deploying or using SAP products/modules. The platform is clearly prepared and solid to support customers from different countries/regions, and is actually evolving through time. So far, it´s been flexible and robust enough to address compliance settings, even when considering different companies and/or specific scenarios.
We believe that all top global providers that complete with SAP, are in the same level in terms of the main functionalities for supporting HR processes. SAP seemed to be more robust on each process, and more consistent when considering best practices applied to their modules. It may be hard to use sometimes, but it certainly has good answers to support a wide variety of scenarios and specific business needs.
