Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing Platform

The Scale platform is currently running 15 servers for us. Before we had several physical systems that were dedicated to specific applications. We often need to test a system configuration before it is deployed into our production environment. Scale makes this really simple and efficient process. The backup and restore capabilities of Scale system is quick and reliable.

Pros

  • Backup, Cloning.
  • Distributing the computing resources across the nodes
  • support access from Scale
  • user interface is clean and simple

Cons

  • Remote to servers from the management consol.
  • Ability to have backups more like a Veeame solution
Scales support is quick and they are very responsive. Every time that we needed to contact support they always follow up to confirm that all the issues or questions have been resolved.
  • Our environment has only been off line for less than five days in five years.
  • The ability to move resources from one node to another, and maintain up time.
Scale has all the required features for failover and system availability that any other product has at a better price point. User interface is much easier to understand and is not cluttered with things you don't need.
