Overall Satisfaction with SeekOut

We pursued a SeekOut integration with our proprietary software product. In doing so, we also purchased licenses for all full-time employees and many contractors. Our employees needed a recruiting search tool with a powerful Boolean engine, GitHub search, and easy export to our ATS. We also needed a reliable source for contact information as we led a push for email-first candidate outreach.

Overall, the provided training and response time for our employees has been excellent. However, communications on the backend (for product & engineering needs) are slower and have required multiple follow-ups. This has made improvements or changes to our integration slow to implement. Our employees have been generally unaffected by this, however.
Our employees are able to discover a wealth of talent that Linkedin Recruiter does not uncover. With SeekOut, we have been able to establish a more rigorous standard for sourcing with positive results. Because SeekOut returns high-quality profiles, there is a reduced time-to-hire.
SeekOut has superior search capabilities and a more intuitive UI. While we still provide access to other tools, SeekOut has become the standard as a primary tool.

SeekOut is excellent for sourcing technical talent in the start-up space - this comprises at least 60% of our recruiting business. We have seen widespread positive adoption of SeekOut, with an accompanying decrease in reliance upon Linkedin Recruiter. SeekOut is less appropriate as a primary tool for executive search, though it is useful as a supplementary sourcing strategy.
