Overall Satisfaction with Sendoso

Sendoso is currently being used by our marketing team (both customer marketing & customer acquisition teams), as well as our sales teams (including AE's and BDRs).
Sendoso helps our company by allowing us to offer thoughtful gifts to compliment our customer/prospect outreach to show appreciation for time, to try and schedule a meeting, or a variety of other reasons. They have been especially helpful over this past year when there has been a shift to working from home, given they offer a variety of eGift options that allow our sales team to continue sending gifts & getting prospect attention throughout this challenging time.
  • Wide variety of gift options to choose from (at a variety of price points, including tangible gifts & eGifts)
  • The ability to bundle gifts, personalized notes, business cards, and even wrapping it up in a very attractive manner
  • Salesforce alignment for tracking, as well as notifying the sender of the various stages in the sending process (processing, delivered, opened, redeemed, etc.)
  • I find that I often have questions that nearly always require opening up a support ticket. I've had to open more support tickets with sendoso than any other platform
  • I'd love to see more variety in eGift options
  • It has lead to additional meetings and to keeping our company top of mind, but it is too early to tell the ROI impact given our very long sales cycle
I haven't actually used VLG at this point but it has been a vendor that I've considered for a more ABM approach and they have their own inventory that they pull from for the campaigns they build out.

I believe that Sendoso can be leveraged effectively for any prospect regardless of where they are in their buyers journey - a small gift (eGift coffee card, etc.) can be effective as a door opener to start a conversation with someone who may not know who our company is. For specific key contacts we send our thought leadership book, written by our CEO to help the prospect learn more about our company and the impact we can have on organizations success. And when we deeper in a conversation with a prospect we can use a more-expensive gift or leverage the Amazon touch to send the prospect something personalized based on what we know about them (alum gift from where they went to school, their favorite sports team they talked about on our last call, something for their daughter who them mentioned was sick when we last talked, etc.)

When we are very far down the buyers journey with a prospect and they are in the process of making a final decision between a few vendors, it may look more like a bribe if we send them something at that point, so I don't think it is as appropriate.
