Overall Satisfaction with Shopify

Shopify is used as payment gateway for some of the clients that need an e-commerce website. While I was working we didn't really find out any major problems but I was thinking about improving the user interface at that time. (2 years ago)

Pros

  • Security of Shopify is reliable
  • Good Speed
  • Easier to build a website using their templates rather than starting one from scratch

Cons

  • PHP for templates could be really helpful
  • Improve the blogging feature in Shopify
  • Better Support
Renewal depends upon the improvement of new features which will race with new products.
It is well suited when you need a payment gateway for your website with little custom design to your template. It is less suitable if you need a blogging platform with good features.
