Overall Satisfaction with Skype
We have used Skype as our primary means of instant messaging for many years. It's been handy in day to day functions, co-worker collaboration, and interoffice communications. It's being used by many people across all departments here in our primary office as well as our executive office, along with our roaming field users.
- Easy to learn and use.
- Instantly reach out to others and get instant feedback in most cases.
- Nicely laid-out interface.
- Notifications used to be better, and it is easy to miss new messages if you are away from your desk.
- Sometimes the systray icon becomes invisible.
- Once in a while, it seems like it's just not running and I have to start it again.
- Better internal communication.
- Less time spent emailing.
- Less time spent getting up and walking into other offices to have discussions.
