Overall Satisfaction with Skype
We use it across our department because we prefer the quality of Skype compared to Google Hangouts.
- Video calls.
- Instant messaging.
- Screensharing.
- Privacy - There is no security offered in knowing that your calls are 100% private.
- Customization - It would be nice to be able to change the UI for companies.
- Affordably host remote usability studies, instead of investing in expensive or subpar software.
- Creates better collaboration which encourages swifter work.
I think Skype far outways Google Hangouts in quality and features (whiteboarding, slideshows, etc.). Cisco Webex is nice, but I feel it's too expensive for its offerings.
