Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

[Skype for Business (formerly Lync)] is used departmentally, it was being used more before we went full deployment with Teams.

Pros

  • Phone audio replacement
  • Conference calls

Cons

  • Some other solutions are better or make it a little easier to do screen share and remote support
  • As a user this is hard to gauge but before teams this was a common solution
I think [Skype for Business (formerly Lync)] is very comparative and stacks up well. I think Microsoft has moved to make [Microsoft Teams] the new universal platform and is doing a very good job so far with constant iteration.
