We use Slack as a primary communication tool within our organization. Being able to assign channels to group conversations, as well as instantly communicate with colleagues makes it an ideal tool for our organization. With remote employees, Slack is especially helpful at keeping everyone on the same page without having to sift through a ton of email for quick questions or just friendly chat.
