Overall Satisfaction with Slack

We are a remote company that uses Slack daily for internal communications and building our company culture. Without slack, we would miss out on the opportunity to discuss work, expand our professional knowledge, and build our community. Although we use it primarily to communicate within our own team, we also have dedicated slack channels to connect with each of our clients.
  • Slack is great for organizing conversations via channels.
  • Slack helps us stay connected to each other and our clients.
  • Slack has many integrations to enhance the overall experience and make transitioning between various apps seamless.
  • It would be nice if slack's HubSpot integration worked in private channels as well as public channels so our internal communications could be logged automatically in HubSpot (we currently have to copy/paste relevant info).
  • The ability to create multiple channels in order to organize our conversations on specific topics.
  • The ability to integrate with other apps such as zoom and standup (we also love giphy).
  • We are still using the free version so there the ROI is immeasurable.

Do you think Slack delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Slack's feature set?

Yes

Did Slack live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Slack go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Slack again?

Yes

I honestly believe Slack fits all business types and models. We have been using their free option, and although our history is limited, we could get on a paid plan if we needed to see farther back. I know there is an improvement coming soon to this. Although I use Slack daily for my main job, I'm also a yoga teacher on the side, and both studios I work for use Slack to organize our communication (one studio did so at my suggestion). It really is an extremely versatile and useful tool for everything.
