Slack allows end users to share files and messages, create short and long tasks, and collaborate with each other in one space. It also enables quick communication, with users able to ask questions and receive responses in seconds. Users can also make audio and video calls to team members directly from their device.

Usability

Overall, by using slack, I can confirm its ease of access. As a first time user of the app, I can easily manage my direct messages, change the appearance of my timeline and I can easily contact all my friends and peers in the app unlike the competitors of the app.

At our workspace, we're using Slack as our means of communication (transfer of attachments, messaging with peers) to hasten our productivity. It is well suited in our company because Slack provides our basic needs when it comes to reaching our to our peers/managers and to escalate things real time.
