Overall Satisfaction with Splash Event Platform

We use Splash to plan events for each one of our managing partners and for external facing events across the firm. Guests at events range from 14 at a VIP dinner to 500 for a large scale conference with tickets or cocktail party. We have events about every other week and it helps us design invitations without the help of a professional graphics designed, as well as manage RSVPs.
  • Their support team is very friendly and helpful. They get back to me within a couple of hours and have lots of resources to help remotely.
  • I like being able to check people in on mobile.
  • Their templates make it easy to design something cool. I'm not a trained designer, but using Splash templates lets me create cool invitations that look very well designed.
  • I'm very interested in a tool to help me with assigned seating based on the guests who are present.
  • I want more functionality in customizing emails. The fact that there are only 6 fonts in the email bank but full functionality in the layout maker is frustrating especially since some people won't click to the splash page if the email isn't enticing.
  • I wish I could take photos of business cards instead of holding up the line with typing in email addresses in the mobile check in.
  • It helps me manage a number of events that I would not otherwise be able to make invitations for, manage rsvps, and do check ins. We used a more expensive product previously but it had fewer features so this is definitely an upgrade.
  • Using Splash saves me time from needing to follow up with guests. I also love the "send later" feature for email.
  • The support staff make this product super valuable as I am able to accomplish more with their help.
HubSpot cost more and had fewer features. We used to use HubSpot for a mixture of CRM and newsletter development and occasional invitations for events, but Splash is a far better event tool and we can also hack it to send out newsletters.
For dinners with 10 people to conferences with 500, Splash is good for all of the above.

It's not great for personalized invitations where the email needs to come from a specific person. Sometimes the invitations might get stuck in the spam filter.
