I love Submittable, but there is always room for improvement.

Overall Satisfaction with Submittable

We use Submittable for granting money to nonprofits as well as accepting scholarship applications. By using one platform for all of our grants and scholarships, it is easy to track and assign review committees to the applications.

Pros

  • Branching questions
  • Easy drag and drop builder for all forms
  • Easy review assignment

Cons

  • Confusion language for certain functions
  • Too many options for file upload formats
  • Option to make the application wider. It often feels very narrow on a desktop
  • Time saving
  • Organization of applications
  • Streamlined application process
Sometimes the language used feels very "tech" based or understood within Submittable, but from an outside perspective, it can be confusing.
Submittable has a much nicer appearance for the user. I am not sure how the building side of things look, but overall Submittable looks and feels better!

It is great for creating easy to use grant and scholarship applications! There is a very small learning curve, so just about anyone can use it.
