Overall Satisfaction with TargetBay
Our organization is currently using TargetBay to help collect email addresses by way of pop-ups, track some website usage, and for sending automated abandoned cart emails. Our website platform did not offer a built-in automated abandoned cart feature that could be modified or edited to fit our needs. TargetBay solved that problem for us.
Pros
- TargetBay has amazing chat support.
- TargetBay has a great onboarding process.
- TargetBay is very affordable compared to other programs that offer similar solutions.
Cons
- Once you are on-boarded and set everything up initially, they do not continue to manage your account well.
- Presales will sell you on how "they" do a lot for you. This ends up not being the case. A lot of the weight and heavy lifting is still dependent on the user.
- There is no way to easily manager your own users. If you want to add or remove users from your account, you are required to contact someone at TargetBay.
- Generated significantly more product reviews in comparison to when we were not using TargetBay.
- Proves revenue gains greater than the cost of the software.
- Overcame technical advantages of not having the ability to modify/customize our existing automated emails that are native to our website platform.
Unfortunately, we've not extensively tested other platforms that compare to TargetBay apples-to-apples. However, in the best comparisons we could find, TargetBay was the easiest to integrate with most website platforms or stores such as BigCommerce, Shopify and Volusion. Additionally, the rates were very affordable where other programs were much more costly.
