Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

We use TeamViewer for setting up remote access for teams located across multiple geographic locations. Most team members use Teamviewer for remote access to their machines and the ease of setup and the connection speeds had been impressive throughout. Teamviewer has really helped with onboarding resources with ease to our teams.

Pros

  • Easy Setup
  • Good Connection speeds
  • Good Transfer times

Cons

  • Lacks additional security features
  • Enabled team members to quickly access their machines any time during the day for any urgent needs
  • Team uses this as a great screen share/webex option for meetings
TeamViewer compares well against other alternate solutions due to the ease of setup and great connection speeds. Though it lacks some of the advanced security features, it provides beyond the industry standards for encryption and other basic security features.
