Overall Satisfaction with TestComplete

We use TestComplete to run automated regressions on our E-Learning sites.
  • Cross-browser testing
  • Adjusting current tests for several sites
  • Reduces time spent on manual site regressions
  • Steep learning curve
  • Outdated documentation on the SmartBear site
  • Not getting answers to issues through the SmartBear knowledge base
  • Less man hours spent on regressions
  • More thorough test cases
  • Can be run easily when needed
We evaluated Selenium as well. We chose TestComplete for the more friendly interface.
Pro: The software is well suited for a less tech-savvy person to create tests.
Con: The end user must have some programming knowledge to make the software function as expected.
