Overall Satisfaction with Text-Em-All

I use Text-em-all to remind people of their eye exams. It is a recall service. Also, remind patients of their appointment times. Also, one of the things I "like" about this service is that it also uses voicemail for those who still prefer verbal confirmations. Quite a few of our patients still have landlines.

Pros

  • Sends bulk texts at a specific time.
  • Sends bulk voice messages at the same time as the texts.
  • Easy to navigate the home page.

Cons

  • I wish that everything could be done on one page.
  • I wish it would alert me if there are any duplicates.
  • Adding patient names via Excel file.
  • Selecting the time and date to send out the messages.
  • I can do this from any computer at any time.
  • This works better than email and calling people cold; patients prefer text messages.
  • 100% of my patients receive a reminder that they are due for an eye exam; if they don't act immediately they eventually make an appointment for an eye exam.
  • I wish I could store the dates and send them out 2x per year for the patients who forget.

I have recommended text-em-all to many of my colleagues already! Eye doctors, dentist offices, and primary care offices could really benefit from this...I wouldn't want this for retail, like sub shops, fast food, etc... I think something that might be beneficial would be having sales reps so the word can get out.
