Overall Satisfaction with Text-Em-All

Texting is absolutely necessary in our line of business.
Whether communicating with candidates or clients. The full integration with our
ATS (TempWorks) also means that all communications are properly documented, and
we can easily text candidates from within the ATS.

Pros

  • Full integration with ATS.
  • Sync contacts with ATS.
  • Documents all communications.
  • Mass Communication directly from ATS Searches.

Cons

  • Communication Folders (in the inbox, not contact groups).
  • Outbound automation based on criteria in the ATS (workflows/journeys).
  • ATS integration.
  • Cost model.
  • Group inbox and ability to mark conversations as done for the whole team.
  • Improved response rate when combining text and calls to new candidates.
Our only hiccup was during implementation when our phone number wasn't being released by our old provider and then picked up by Text-Em-All; support jumped in and communicated with us consistently to ensure we knew what was going on throughout the process.
ZipWhip was fine for introducing our business to texting, but it lacked the ability to integrate with our ATS. The Podium had many valuable bells and whistles but also could not integrate with our ATS. The Sense was very powerful, but we ran into a problem using a single phone
number/inbox and enabling all our team members to have close conversations.
For example, if I closed a conversation my team would still see the
message in their inbox. Since we work so much as a team, this was not
viable for us at the time.

Our contact, Lauren, has been great at helping troubleshoot
our questions (from when I goofed importing all our contacts and first/last names were reversed to setting up templates and ensuring they were shared with my team). The platform has plans for future improvements as well, and we're
excited to see the new features that just make it even better.
