Overall Satisfaction with TravelBank

We use TravelBank across our organization for all our flight, hotel, and car rental needs. It solves a few challenges for us: 1 - it encourages everyone to be mindful of travel expenses by encouraging us to spend less so we can get more for ourselves (gift cards) and 2 - it simplifies the accounting of our travel expenditures.
  • Extremely easy to use platform (works similar to Expedia and Travelocity)
  • Rewards employees for saving the company money - most programs only benefit the organization and not the individual employee
  • It ties to Expensify
  • Expanding the hotel offerings - they already have a huge inventory, but it would be great to have more AirBnB-like options
  • I've found particularly with flights that the employee rewards are much less - I realize that is just a function of airfare costs, but it feels like most of the time I need to go over budget
  • Add Uber and Lyft options
  • It has saved the company money
  • It has created excitement about finding less expensive travel options
  • Changing over to TravelBank, like any major change, can be confusing and uncomfortable for companies, but that is expected.
I have used,,, and many other sites/apps. None of them offer the employee incentive to save the company money and none of them, to my knowledge, sync with Expensify. TravelBank just makes booking business travel easier for both the end user and the company. I've really enjoyed using it.
I would imagine TravelBank is well suited for all companies who are trying to reduce travel costs. It's a creative way to empower employees to save the company money by rewarding themselves for selecting more economical travel options. It may be less appropriate for companies who use private travel (private jets, private cars).
