Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Southwestern University’s Office of Marketing and Communications uses Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* in our public relations efforts. It’s a great tool to find influencers to write stories about SU, monitor the chatter about SU and show our public relations ROI to our executives.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Giving your public relations efforts an actual ROI
Customer service (super quick and easy to work with)
Competitor analysis. It’s great to see how we stack up agains our like schools.

Cons

Dashboard customization. Would love the ability to change the colors so it’s easy for an executive to see SU vs our competitors on graphs.

Alternatives Considered

Meltwater Media Intelligence Platform

Customer service is far, far better!

Likelihood to Recommend

Great for measuring Public Relations ROI, not great for true marketing initiatives.
