Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud
We currently use Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* for all our reporting requirements as far as earned media is concerned. It solves the issue for us of measuring all important share of voice versus competitors; it helps us track our mentions on a week to week basis, it provides sentiment analysis, social amplification and lastly ad equivalency - all in real time. In prior roles at agencies, this type of analysis would have taken a team at least a week to pull together from disparate systems. With Cision - it's all available instantly and in a beautiful, visual interface.

- Instant reporting and real-time tracking of earned media coverage.
- The ability to customize reporting in many, many different ways - some key ones for us are share of voice, mentions, social amplification, key stories and sentiment analysis.
- Beautiful visual reports.
- Pinpoint Contacts is a good solution - better than other similar products on the market from Cision (pre-TrendKite acquisition) and Meltwater, however, with the constant shifts in reporters - there's always room for improvement in terms of contact information and which publication the reporter is currently writing for.
Cision (pre-TrendKite acquisition) and Meltwater. Meltwater's service is absolutely abysmal. They write all their contracts in a way that they auto-renew unless you provide 4 months notice (something roughly like that - it's more than the typical 30 or 60 days notice). The reporting on both is vastly inferior and nowhere near as visual. Even in areas where they used to own the market - in reporter contacts etc., - they've lost out to Cision (TrendKite)* with their Pinpoint Contacts product.
