Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
I just needed a place to review and research different programs to find the best solution for my business. A lot of software we use has come via word of mouth as new people have used different pieces of software at their last companies. TrustRadius was extremely useful in order to verify people's experiences and provides an in depth insight into how people are using it, benefits and disadvantages.

- To confirm my decision
- To find evidence to support my recommendation to colleagues or my client
- To see what other users think of the product I am currently using
I looked at different reviews. The open ended answers were the best as well as lists of advantages/disadvantages so I can look at them at a glance and start to see themes jump out.
Reviews with both positive and negative feedback are really valuable. With other sites like Amazon sometimes everything is 'too' positive and it's hard to distinguish what's real and what's not. I like honest feedback and having an in-depth review pushes people to think about drawbacks to certain pieces of software...as well as the positives.
Having reviews made the conversation with superiors a LOT easier, because I wasn't just sharing my own experience with something but also came as a way of presenting an idea/process change so that execs could see exactly what other people think and what their experiences have been.

- Understanding the ways in which people are using, what are their roles at their companies, etc.
- User experience on the site is a little difficult to navigate, especially once you're done with the review. It's hard to find my account/see my points etc.
Mainly Google, I'll look around and find out what I can. It's also hard to find one place for reviews - most are scattered amongst different articles. People also heavily rely on word of mouth, so this allows small business to really be in the know when it's just a small team that hasn't had much experience.
TrustRadius really provides something far more in depth than other sites, and so many unique experiences rather than just one person's experience. You can see the different roles and sizes of the companies so it allows you to find a perspective that's not dissimilar from your own role/company. Highly recommend using TrustRadius!
