Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

We are in the process of buying new equipment for our Data Center. We are 90% with Cisco devices. The direction was Nexus, but since our team is widespread and different people are involved, another idea came out and we are also evaluating Arista. So TrustRadius is a good source of information to understand if a product can be the right fit, and reading about experiences is big plus. My role is to find the right box and the right design with the budget we have.
  • To compare products
Knowing other users' opinions and experiences is really a key thing, because on your own you can perform a POC, but still, you cannot really evaluate the product until is in production and see pros and cons.
I'm trying to save time looking at the experience of the other people. Time is really valuable, and years of experience of a company on a certain product has no price. If a review describes pros and cons, and if there are features mentioned that we are looking for, that would be the best kind of review.
With different opinions it is going to be easier to make a decision or at least to start an evaluation. I found pretty interesting reviews that helped to ask the right questions to the sales engineer. That information is quite hard to find online or in any documentation, because it comes from real life experience.
  • Every review seems quite honest.
  • It seems like speaking with a co-worker and sharing opinions.
  • There is a different point of view that I didn't find anywhere else online.
  • Actually I didn't find any cons yet.
Usually I check on the Internet, I use TrustRadius, I speak with colleagues and former colleagues, then directly with the vendor. Putting all these information sources together will increase the rate of success of a project.
Actually I use just TrustRadius. :)
TrustRadius can help a lot in making decisions. I do my research as usual, then I'm looking on TrustRadius for transparent opinions that can validate what I found.
