Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers
Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud was considered, but AWS scored better in terms of pricing, reliability, and integrations from a DevOps perspective. We also went for AWS as it is already being used to run some prod and staging environments for our developers in the back end, and having data solutions from the same vendor always helps.
AWS Dynamo DB was purchased to store regular weblogs data. This was required for a new product to cater to the requirement of generating reports on top of client usage data. Close to 100 people were involved in the project. We researched for about 15-20 days and had to make a quick call given working in an agile setup and tight timelines to deliver the final product and output.
Pros
- Extensive feedbacks with detailed questions
- Feedbacks from global audiences helping achieve best practices
- Well asked tech specific questions helping us take right tech decisions as well
- Coverage of the products on TrustRadius is great
Cons
- Would be great to market your review gathering exercise more
- Tie ups with brands to show reviews directly on their websites as well
- G2
- TrustRadius
- Gartner Peer Insights (GPI)
They were good for the initial parts of the analysis when making a list of potential solutions and alternatives in the market, but it's limited to giving deep-dive details where TrustRadius for Buyers fills in the gap. They are fine at an aggregate level and to spot new smaller players/products in the market as well but lack deep-dive details.
It's actually a lot of things to be considered:
Integrations with existing tech systems and platforms
Pricing vs. competitors
Word of mouth and previous experience with the product
Feature Ratings and Recommendations
Demo feedback from internal teams
Customer Support post-purchase
Future-Proofing the solution
Training for internal staff on how to use the product
Easiness to find talent in the job market to work on the solution
