Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Vendors

  • TrustQuotes Library
TrustQuotes Library gives us a centralized place to tag and review customer feedback. When we need a quote on a certain product attribute, or from a particular industry, it's an easy place to look. It makes developing industry-specific collateral much easier. It also helps avoid days of work that it would take to assemble this volume of customer feedback.
  • Customer participation was higher than we expected.
  • Customers seemed pleased to offer feedback to their peers.
  • The ability to use quotes for content marketing saves dozens of hours.
  • The process of getting started was made painless and straightforward.
  • It could be made easier to consume. I need to filter in my brain to see what's important. Focus group testing would reveal what's important when people read a review, and what could be left out (as far as dominant headings that don't add value, and a somewhat chopped up presentation).
  • Tagging and navigating by tabs--I haven't really tackled it yet, but it doesn't seem as intuitive as it might.
  • As a vendor, I'd like the availability of a summary at a glance presentation. It seems to go under the hood fast and turn onto lots of pieces.
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Manage brand reputation
  • Scale customer proof through reviews
  • Third-party validation of marketing claims
  • Identify candidates for case studies & advocacy
  • Reduce or supplement reference requests
  • Increase landing page conversion
  • Create sales enablement content
  • Improve sales efficiency
  • Gather product insights
  • Identify & address customer issues
The 30 reviews we have so far would take three person-months to secure and guide through approval if we didn't have TrustRadius' help.

We just started using the reviews, so we can't measure their impact, but two reviews alerted us to high-ROI uses of our solution that we wouldn't have known about except for TrustRadius. A third review turned up an important product champion where we didn't know we had one.
I considered TechValidate. But I've found that purely anonymous information is not convincing at a gut level, as detailed as it may be. I also considered doing the work that TrustRadius does ourselves. But having it go through a third party seems to please customers (and prospects) and it lets us concentrate on higher value projects.
It's helpful, but it would take a determined customer to find what's relevant. Therefore, it gains value when we make its content easier to find on a first party site.
Well-suited:
Content marketers who want to capture the voice of customers.
Product managers who want candid customer reactions.
Customers who are in the process of evaluation.

Less appropriate:
People who want to learn how customers solved certain use case challenges (like a classic case study)
