TrustRadius helps when it comes to providing social proof to customers. We can then deploy those quotes across web properties, to sales reps, and other departments. Marketing manages it, then deploys it out.

Pros

  • Their hands-on model is great. I have a dedicated connection who is able to help me find ways to leverage the TrustRadius reviews.
  • Their product is growing, so it's a good way to help be a part of the product growth.

Cons

  • Their technology is a bit behind some of the other popular sites, so the leverage we get is a bit of a step behind.
  • The amount of leads given/offered from TrustRadius aren't as numerous as the other sites.
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Manage brand reputation
  • Scale customer proof through reviews
  • Third-party validation of marketing claims
  • Identify candidates for case studies & advocacy
  • Increase landing page conversion
  • Create sales enablement content
We've seen a lift of 20% on a landing page where we've used the widgetl
We've used G2Crowd (which is a bit more of a robust product, and ranks a bit higher in SEO), and the Gartner family of sites. TrustRadius is working hard to add functionality, but in terms of personal sales wins, I've seen more traffic from other partners.
If anything, it is a really good way to make quotes modular. I'd want to find more ways to inject them.
They're really great and attentive to our needs.
Ultimately, you should diversify your review portfolio. TrustRadius has been a good partner, and very attentive. They're certainly better for a company that is a bit more established to build out their diverse portfolio than the first one to go with.

As you know, this is one of several ways we help infuse the voice of your customer into sales and marketing initiatives. For most software vendors, a 20%+ lift on key points of conversion like pricing pages, demo requests, and PPC landing pages represents a tremendous boost to your inbound efforts and to your bottom line. It's true that we have moved away from offering paid lead programs, since paid leads are typically a tiny slice of most software vendor's overall demand gen programs. We're focused instead on creating high-quality content that is extremely valuable to both buyers and vendors and that is available on a site that doesn't "pounce" on visitors. We believe that savvy B2B buyers see through low-quality directory sites. We are on a very different arc in terms of platform development. We *will* be releasing many more self-service features in the coming weeks and months to make TrustQuotes more portable, improve reference management, and share more insights into buyer activity on TrustRadius.
