Marketing manages the review tagging and enables the sales teams with content, as well as populates our landing pages and website with quotes to help demand generation.
  • We get great insight into customer experiences and hear some positive things we can leverage. The negative feedback allows us to address the problem.
  • It provides a good sample set of feedback directly from actual customers, as opposed to analysts or cherry picked. So we can direct prospects to this data and it supports our own comments.
  • Quote capture and ability to manage reviews with meta tags allows us to re-purpose them effectively.
  • The UI can be clunky with a lot of different entry points - for example review edits and review tagging go through different access points. Editing the storefront and even viewing it is as a user is not that streamlined.
  • No ability to harvest the reviews by meta-tags, so seems that data is overengineered for how it can be leveraged

It's one input. We have to use all of them, but TrustRadius adds a lot of value through the relationship and hand-holding
Excellent! Patrick Hansen has been terrific - is very thorough and responsive and easy to work with. He has followed through immediately on any of my questions and stayed on top of me when I am lagging on my end. He's incredibly pleasant and professional and a delight to work with. He brings the right information and aligns the right resources when we need access to others in the company. Alan Cooke in the research team is also great to work with and understands our product and space well.
In a low-touch, high-volume product offering, it could potentially take the place of 1:1 references and enable an inside sales team with content. In a situation like that, I could see 85% of the research being done before the vendor is even involved, and TR would make a huge difference. In a high-touch sales cycle that requires a custom demo and business case and multiple stakeholders, TrustRadius is one of many inputs.
